This is for small things that are good that happen to you and you wish to share, but don't necessarily require their own thread for a few posts, so, to get the ball rolling, I should probably say something.
I went to see umbilical brothers, if you know who they are. Nah, well, just put whatever you want. So, this is designed to reduce the number of threads flying around.

The ashes are a series of cricketing tests played between Australia and England. Last year, England won them for the first time in 32 years, so now there's a lot of poms coming out and stealing all the Aussies tickets, and I was unable to get tickets. The ashes themselves, are a burned set of stumps, and they stay in England, no matter how many times Australia wins. All we get is a little cup thing that is too small to hold the real ones.

It is big enough to hold the Ashes. I mean how big can the ashes of a stump be?

Well, today I was due to get braces, but because I have a huge overbite, I only had to get the top ones because otherwise I would've bitten the bottom ones off I got green and white donuts for my football (soccer) club, and it feels a bit weird, but I'll get used to it No pain yet...

I'm getting braces this fall (Spring for all Southern Hemisphere Folk), so I'm kinda nervous about it, as well as the fact that school starts in barely a week.
Anyway folk, let's try to stay on topic.
