I wasn't saying there weren't any better than you Maj Just mentioning that you were pretty good. And I know I was a great stage manager lol except for when the curtains wouldn't open and I had to break them... I still reckon you should use no-doze, guaranteed to make you hyper

Being a drama student I think, sounds interesting, however it's a big risk. With such a large LOTR fanbase all around the globe, it would have to be good.
I much prefer plays, although there are times when movies is better. All the same, I would rather be in it.

Yes I agree with you Erinion. It would have to be extreamly good for LOTR fans to except it.

I played Stephano in our Grade 12 Literature class' version of "The Tempest". I had a lot of fun. We made our own props and created a shorter version of the play, which featured me swaying around pretending to be drunk through the entire production. (Or was I actually pretending? My memories about that period are fuzzy...)
To give a sample: "No more shall I to sea, to sea Here shall I die ashore... A scurvy tune, to sing at a man's funeral! Well...here is my comfort! (Takes a swig of wine etc. etc.)
That was my enterence. People had to suffer through my drunk singing voice and my penchant for stimping very close to other actor's (i.e. Trinculo's) faces.
Anyway...
There were two stage productions of LOTR that I am aware of. One was a three-parter staged in Cincinatti, which was apparently good but low-budget, and the second one was the 'musical' staged in Toronto. The latter has moved to England, and recieved mixed reviews from critics (though LOTR fans loved it).
There's a also a script for a broadway musical entitled "The One Ring" floating around the net. As far as I know, it's never been staged, but it des include the "Where there's a whip, there's a will!" song from the Ranking-Bass ROTK film, so I don't know if it was serious...then again, the person did write an entire script with much more songs than that...
Hey, maybe we here at the Forum can put together our own production. I call scriptwriter!

Director... actually that doesn't work... anyway.
6 days out from my play A Midsummer Night's Dream and NO ONE has a costume and we have two props and no set... Mitch we need HELP!!! Anyway we have added stuff in there like a sword fight between the two guys Lysander and Demetri... I dont know how to spell it. Yes that was coriagraphed but the two guys playing them and Mitch and I. I myself am not doing well after suffering from being dunked in the pool yesterday and have got bruising on one of my toes and being Puck I need to be able to jump around but at the minute I am limping around so I cant walk properly.
About that LOTR thing of making our own production... If we did do it we would have to pay for copyright.
