Well, the World Cup is over, so avoid discussing that. How about the Italian league? Support for it would certainly increased after the World Cup win, but this is disappointing. Several high profile clubs at the centre of match-fixing scandals. Very sad, but on lighter news...
Australia plays Kuwait in the Asian Cup Qualifiers very soon, with only three members of the world cup squad playing. Why? Club duties. They get paid more money to play for their club, yet their country is where they are more famous, so why not play for them? Well, I guess it would be hard to say to Liverpool, sorry, I can'y help you beat Arsenal this week, I have to go play Kuwait. I've got nothing against Kuwait, but they are not and never will be a footballing nation.

Hopefully. With any luck, it might even pick up and become more recognised.

I cannot say anything here since I barely watched the World Cup and I'm more a fan of B-ball and Baseball. ;D

Well that's fair enough. I sort of started this thread to hopefully entice some more people. But living in Australia means football news is very restricted.

Right now in the U.S it's Summer, but that's since the U.S is in the Northern Hemisphere. So I'm assuming that in Australia it's winter... which means you guys (Erinion and Majimaune) are having school... suddenly a lot of stuff makes more sense.

Australia may be playing two friendly matches against Paraguay, with a full-strength side expected to play. This is so cool, cos it might be played in Aus!

Its the same. If you watched the WC then you would have seen us play and beat Japan, lose to Brazil, tie against Croatia and lose to Italy. It takes the best to beat us.
