Try to sign up another name star. And if that doesnt work then they will get a SoccerRoo to do the job.

OK
Well this Saturday there is Australia vs. Paragauy at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. It's only a friendly though. I think a few of the SoccerRoos who played in the WC are coming back to Aus to play.

I think almost all of them are...and after that, Popovic is retiring! He has done outstanding service for the Socceroos, so congratulations to him for a wonderful career.
Also, I am playing in an indoor soccer (futsal) competition. We're only playing for the fun, so that's about it. If I had more time, I would go further in depth.

As was discussed briefly, Sydney FC lost their big name. Then, as I predicted, they picked up a new one: Carbone, an Italian player.
Also, tonight Australia play Paraguay in a friendly.
Also Also, who do people think will win the European thingy (danged escaping names!)

It was a tie. 1-1. I only watched half of the game but what I saw was Paraguay pushing and holding most of the time and getting away with it. It would have been hard to argue with the ref though because it had to go through a translater, he was Japanese.
Paraguay didnt score it was an own goal so technically Australia won, scoring both of the goals.

There's slightly more to add. Popovic, who was retiring after this match, scored Australia's goal. They would have won if some other defender hadn't made the mistake.

Yeah. It was Popovic who was taken off and that guy put on. I found that a bit ironic.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see the match as I wasn't at home, but I did find out the result. Dissapointing that we couldn't hold out the win.

Erinion I have to hand it to you. Getting two out of three isnt bad out of your predictions.
Australia won two-nil to Bahrain, scoring in the first half. I only saw one goal but that was scored but Marco Bresciano and it was a bicycle kick into the goals.
