Everyone wants to try some, but they don't have a recipe. So...cram and lembas. Waybread (is it like shortbread?), and it can provide enormous amounts of stamina. I'm thinking sugar, and basic shortbread, with some water. Makes it less dry. Any expert chefs who can lend any hints? Or amateur chefs.

Well the stuff they had in the movies we could probably get something for them if we looked hard enough. You never know it could be interesting to find out what they used.

I had a book that had every recipe in it and it got stolen From lembas, to mutton, to scotch eggs (made by strider) To all sorts of things. Im pretty sure it even included certain drinks. I can try and find it again though, very informative book actually.

Oh really thats awesome, I would love to work at a bookshop.
Hm I remember it having Tolkien in the title, although that doesn't help much because alot of things have Tolkien in the title lol.
I know that it didn't just have recipe's it also had original art work and poems and stories that weren't put into the LOTR Series.
I'll try and find out.

I tried making lembas using a whole-wheat peata(sp, sorry) recipe as a base. I think I added some grains or something to one, honey, once tried some dried fruits and things like that as well. It was a while back so I don't really remember. They were quite good though.

Actually, a piece of LotR trivia said that the things in the leaves in the movies were sweet, sort of like big biscuits.
Ontopic - pieces of fruit will make sure it has vitamins in it!
