I've been waiting for someone else who's also interested in Politics, Science, and Religion. But I must ask Barley, just for curiosity sake, are you going that Global Warming thread here, just like you made on TTF?

I'll Talk politics and religion. Don't know how well a conversation I could make on science though. Atleast I can spell it ;D

That's true. Atleast you can spell it . And actually, you could make a good discussion on Science, for example, debating two different theories, trying to prove which one is true and which one is as fake as a three dollar bill.

As for global warming — the thread died on TTF. If anyone wants to talk about it I'll be happy to though. What I'm more interested in is getting the word out on the unmitigated series of disasters promulgated by the Bush administration.

Let me be clear: As far as I'm concerned, President Bush is the most dangerous, destructive and calamitously inept person ever to occupy the White House. He is in league with the political and religious ultra-right. If they win, Constitutional law will be replaced by a Christian extremist version of the Old and New Testaments. As far as I'm concerned, Bush is running America for the benefit of the rich, and leaving the rest of us to twist in the wind.

I will be civil, but I will be loud and uncompromising about my beliefs, and I will always try to back them up with checkable statements and facts.

I was permanently banned for so stating my beliefs on TTF's now-defunct Project Evil. (So much for freedom of speech in America) It will be interesting to see how I fare here.

Barley, you are entitled to your political opinions, and you can do as much bush bashing as you want. In fact, I agree with you. But please, this board is for Member intros, not Political opinions. If you want to talk of that, than post in the Prancing Pony.
