Obviously for this category, the general rules of the forum apply. And as far as I'm concerned, there are a few more rules that I would like to add specifically for this category.
1. Anyone can make a new RPG, and when I say anyone, I mean any member of course. Also, RPG's must be Middle-Earth related, obviously.
2. Any member can join an RPG, unless the RPG is invitation only.
3. If, after a while, a member does not post for his character, than any other member who volunteer's is allowed to take control, though as minimally as possible.
4. Remember, when posting, you're dealing with humans, not machines. For the sake of this forum, watch what you say and do.
5. In the end, the gamestarter decides the direction of the story, though if you feel you are being treated unfairly, tell any of the the Staff or the RPG moderators.

Just on that, when you create an RPG, you don't necessarily have to create a discussion thread, and if you know you won't be able to post for a month, say so. It stops fights before they begin, and then we all stay happy.

Too true erinion.
If in need you do have to take control of another persons character, send them a PM first to see if they are going to come back. If they do not reply I personally think you should contact the ruling people (ie erinion, TheBlackWizard or me) and tell them. They could then do all they could to get in touch with the member.

So, pretty much if you know your going to be away ahead of time, assign someone to oversee your stuff for you till you get back?
