Fair-Haven's expression changed. Trying to seem natural she asked in a slightly toned down voice, " What do you mean exactly...Seeker?" She glanced over at the new commer with slight caution.

Nalla's eyes also darted across the room and back; her voice still quieted as she hesitated. "They... There are people... wanderers. I saw one once. They're always looking for-" It was only a moments pause, but one that was just long enough to show that she was clearly unsure about what to say. "something." She finished.

Fair-Haven uncomfortable with the conversation as much as Nalla appeared to be simply said, " Every one, at some point or another in their life is looking for something, eh?" She chuckled to release the tension in her neck and the room.
Thinking quickly to change the subject; she felt around her belt for her flute. " Do you like music?" She asked holding it aloft.

Though she had been trying to think quickly -the woman far from having any of her trust anyway- Nalla was caught off guard by the comment and offer for music.
Still unsure, her eyes moved between the woman's face and the little instrument in her out-held hand. "oh... I..." A memory flicked through her thoughts and she glanced towards Gavin and back; her lips pursed in indecision. Slowly, very lightly, she nodded once.

"Good mornin' sir. Can I get you anything?" Aren smiled at the innkeeper, "whatever you have that's both edible and affordable," he joked. "Warm for preference, but that's not too important." He glanced around as if looking for evesdroppers, "A little information about the area would be much appreciated too," he said sliding a silver coin across the table, "if you know what I mean."

Glancing at the man, Gavin's eyes didn't go to the coin but lingered on his face before moving away again. "This is a quiet little village. There's not much to tell." The large man paused for a slow breath; picking back up with a still off handed tone. "I'll get ya some porridge then?"

Fair-Haven glanced at the new comer then back to Nalla. Without removing her eye's she placed the tip to her lips and began playing softly. It was a quick little tune but not loud enough to interupt anything or drag attention away from conversation much.
Then standing up and giving a slight wink to Nalla she removed herself from her chair and placed herself in front of the front window where the light was coming in.

"Porridge would do fine thank you," Aren replied, glad of the music the woman was playing, much harder to overhear us now. Without looking away from Gavin his hand dipped back into his pocket, this time coming out with a gold coin, "not much to tell?" he countered, "or not much that you're telling me?"

Gavin looked back stedily, replying in an almost dull tone. "If you're looking for something, then you'll just have to go look. There's nothing 'round here wearth the telling." He didn't voice the last word the was playing in his mind, 'anymore'.
A bowl was set on the bar; filled with steaming mash from a pot that had been brough out sometime earlier for easier dishing.
Nalla watched the woman with cautios, alurt eyes. As she moved to the window though, the girl had to blink and nearly lost sigh of her for a short time against the bright sunlight.

"If look I must, then look I shall," Aren replied, shrugging his shoulders as if it was of no importance, pocketing the gold coin and digging into his porridge. He jerked his thumb towards to the girl, "she looks the exploring type, perhaps I should be asking her about this place. The so-called Dragon Throne. She might know a thing or two..."

The man's face went flat; a quick glance moving to Nalla and back as though to be sure of where she was. "It's not her Inn." Brod sholders looked to shrug after a short pause, an uncontious movement to displase some of the cautios tention that had found a way into them. "If you have an honest question, then ask it. You might get an answer."

Angoreth Glanced up over the top of her knuckles.
"No good.." she thought to herself.
Her song slowed and came to an end.
"Well, I think I'll go for a walk soon." She stood up and bowed in respect for the people in the room and headed onward to her bedroom to change.

Nalla blinked and rubbed her eyes as the woman walked away; a little, almost sad sigh sounding as she realized the music had stopped.
Raising the cup to her lips, she stopped and looked into the empty mug. When had she finished it off?... oh well. She worked her way out of the chair and quietly back towards the kitchen to find something to eat before starting her chores for the day.

She came down the stairs with her new clothes on and freshly brushed hair. She heard someone fiddling with things in the kitchen, so she decided to go on and head out.
As she stepped out of the Inn's door the brightness of the sign beat down into her eyes, she pulled her hood over her head. She continued down the road a little bit admiring the scenery.

The day passed for all in its own ways. To some it was slow while others were left wondering where it could have gone.
Wrinkled hands knotted a dry towel back and foreth before tossing it towards the wash bucket. All the dishes were set in piles or hung from racks, an approving eye moving over them before Nalla moved from the room.
Still rubbing her dish-pan-hands along the sides of her skirt, she stepped over to a sun warmed chair a little way from the bar and sipped at a glass of water.
